Overall a very good experience. I worked with a salesperson named Stephany Villada, and also interacted with her manager Samantha Gold. Stephany was impressive. I looked at several cars in the small suv/cuv category: VW Tiguan, Volvo XC 40 and BMW X3 to name a few. Stephany was the only salesperson who was able to answer all of my questions about the car (discovery sport). There is so much information available to consumers these days, for a car dealer to think anyone is walking in cold is ludicrous. I did some light reading on every vehicle I was considering but also watched many online video reviews, most on YouTube. So going in, I knew a lot. It's amazing how many salespeople were clueless about their own product. Not Stephany, she was a pro, and it definitely swayed my decision. Aside from knowledge, she had a great demeanor and was really terrific about following up.In the event she was not available, Samantha always let me know that my message was received, and that I would hear back. Everyone I met at LRWP was great, not aggressive at all. All of my negotiating was with Stephany and Samantha, while they might have had to consult with upper management or finance managers to get the deal done, they never handed me off to anyone else. about two weeks after I picked up the car, I was contacted by Priscilla Juris. She is part of the after care program, I believe it is called Encore. We made an appointment and she came to my house, and spent about an hour with me going over all the tech the car has to offer, making sure I understood how everything worked. As I had a couple of questions after living with it for a few weeks I thought that that was an absolutely awesome thing! My only gripe, and this is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5: at the closing, I was lead into an office to sign papers. I sat with a super pleasant man, whose name escaped me. As we went through the papers, I was offered the opportunity to purchase tire and wheel insurance, prepaid maintenance, and maybe one more add on after care option. As I declined on each one, instead of accepting my "no" he tried to hard sell them to me by illustrating the potential costs associated with opting out. I have gone through similar options before, but typically with the person who was selling the car, not a finance person at the zero hour. Not sure why they time it differently. It was not so much the sales pitch itself, though that was off-putting, but the rejection of my response and the doubling down on the pitch that really made me cringe. Again, the man I was working with was super nice, and I I know he was just doing his job and following instructions Auto Nation is a massive company so I am sure some very serious thought went into that last minute shpiel but I hope someone does read this review, and rethinks it. That said, if you are considering a Land Rover or Range Rover, this is the place to go!
